Recently I am enjoying to find out interesting facts about animals. It is a Koala’s turn now.
I have gathered some basic information about this animal which I would like to share with you.
The word “koala” derives from an ancient Aboriginal word meaning “no drink” since they rarely ever drink water because they get 90 percent of their hydration from gum leaves.
Koala is not a bear, he even is not related to bear. Koala is related to kangaroo and wombat.
He can run as fast as rabbit.
Koala is a mammal with fingerprints, sharp teeth and very sharp claws.
Koala lives on the eucalyptus trees and sleeps about 18 hour per day.
