Not surprising that winter, snow and cold drove me to think about such cute creatures as Penguins are 🙂
The etymology of the word ”penguin” is still debated. According to one of the versions it can be derived from the Welsh pen gwyn ”white head”. Other version is connected to Latin word pinguis which means ”fat”- in Dutch alternative word for penguin is ”fat-goose.”
