When it is winter we miss warm, sunny days dreaming of spring and mostly – summer. When it is summer and still charming autumn is ahead, we want winter to come soon with its white beautiful snow and Christmas presents.
”We” have only four seasons and we are never satisfied 🙂
And here we are, winter is over, spring has started.
Today March is the third month of the Julian and Gregorian calendars, while originally it was the first- of the Roman calendar. The word ”March” comes from the Roman ”Martius”, named after Mars, the god of wars.
P.S. One of the flowers most associated with March is narcissus – tender and fascinating.
