In November, 1999 UNESCO designated 21 March as a day of poetry (World Poetry Day). The day that reminds us the importance of poetry in art and in culture generally, is not a public holiday.
I did not know before, the day existed. As soon as I was informed about, started to search for: eco poems, vegan poetry, green poems, just for curiosity and guess what? They exist!
There are people who writes vegan poems, eco poems, green poems… Green poems could be considered everything that is related to nature I guess…. no? What do you think?
I would say, that poetry has a close contact with nature. Very often nature is an object of poems, it is a muse for poets… so is love and women 🙂
Poem is a magic thing, isn’t it? – rhythm of words constructed with letters, those express one’s inner world, says beautifully what one feels and thinks… makes life more romantic and attractive, sometime melancholic and sad also…
Have you ever written a poem or poems? probably in your childhood or probably you are still writing them? (amazing!)?
Do you know the etymology of the word? Here it is: The word ”poetry” comes from Greek word (of course) poiesis, with a broad meaning of ”making”.
… Poetry is everywhere and in everything, enough to be able to see and to feel…
