The European Sauna Marathon will be held for the fourth time in Estonia on February 10 (Estonia, Winter capital Otepää). The event is organized by Otepää Cultural Centre.
Participants have to visit all saunas in the city area as fast as possible.
The race will start at 12-00:13:00 p.m. And will finish at 18:00 p.m. After what there will be an awarding ceremony.
„Teams may have up to 4 members. Awards will be given only to 4-membered teams,“ explained Sirje Ginter. „Each team will get an orienteering map showing the locations of the saunas and the competition guide. All team members must be in a sauna for at least 3 minutes.“
Participants will have sauna charts. Sauna owners will mark the charts confirming that all team members have completed the sauna. The winner will be the team which completes all the saunas in the shortest time.
All participants have to sign a form confirming that their health condition allows them to take part in the event.
